What is Rainbow MoonstoneRainbow moonstone is a type of orthoclase coming under the feldspar family of minerals. It is mainly found to be white or crystal clear & at times appear in color similar to that of pearl. Though natural white inclusions are common in moonstone but sparkling glimpses of gold, red, green & blue can be seen within it & hence given the name “rainbow moonstone”. The presence of small albite crystals within the gem gives it a blue opalescent shine. The moonstone with its soft hues is believed to induce feelings of mental peace thereby giving a boost to inner confidence, compassion & emotional strength of the wearer at the same time.
