What is Lodolite and Wonderful Jewellery

Lodolite is a term used for a variety of quartz.

It originates from Minas Gerais, Brazil (from my research this stone only comes from one place in the world - which is quite unique).

The meaning of the name means mud, or stone from the mud. This is one of those stones that can be beautiful, but the word ''interesting'' is how I would best discribe it. However in saying that I have seen some jewellery using this stone that would be placed in my top 10 most amazing stones thatI have seen. Why? If you get the right stone, then cut and shaped well, the stone looks like a little microcosmic world has been captured in time and placed under a magniying glass.

The colors of the inclusions within the stone can range from green, pink, yellow, brown, white, red and multiple other colours.

Sometimes it is referred to as Garden, Landscape or Scenic Quartz because of the wonderful "natural" pictures that can be found in the stone.
