What is Labradorite

Labradorite is usually a dark coloured stone that has a vibrant shiller effect (shiller is the name that refers to the flashing blue that appears on the stone when seen at a certain angle). Different colours of shiller may be present - from blue, green, white and gold.

It is a type of Feldspar that is in the Plagioclase group (consists of sodium and calcium aluminium silicates arranged in triclinic crystalline form).
