Bronzite, a gemstone for impeccable beauty and strength

Bronzite is a bronze-like sub-metallic luster variety of Enstatite. It is distinct species of all mineral found on earth. The gemstone has lovely golden brown flakes that shimmer in light.

These properties make it a phenomenal gemstone. The gemstone has an age old history. Ancient Romans made use of it to protect them from mental illness. This variety of Enstatite has a semi-metallic luster which is formed through weathering of the Enstatite mineral.

The gemstone consists of magnesium and magnesium iron silicates. These are considered to be the ferriferous variety of Enstatite. The gemstone has bronze-like luster making it a beautiful mineral, one of its kind.

The gemstone has a hardness of 5.5 as per the Mohs scale. It has an orthorhombic crystal structure. The gemstone is found in few countries namely India, Russia, Brazil and China.
