Information About AmazoniteAmazonite is the beautiful blue/Green specimen of Microline. It is also called Perthite and Amazonstone (named after the Amazon River). Perthite a striped, white veined, patterned stone, that is formed from thin layer intergrowths inside the crystal. The Beautiful Green stone is a variety of Microline which is one of the most common feldspar groups (A group of aluminosilicate minerals) it is found in deep-seated felsic rocks such as granite and Syenite.
